Noah Chaikof

Vice President

Noah is a Vice President with First Ascent Ventures and is based in Toronto.  Noah leads investment sourcing efforts on behalf of the fund and spearheads due diligence efforts on new investments. He has sourced multiple investments for the fund across Canada and the U.S.

Noah joined the fund in 2019 and has played an integral role in supporting various First Ascent portfolio companies. Noah currently serves as a board observer on Andgo Systems, ThinkData, Potloc, and Darwin CX working closely with their management teams on finance and fundraising strategies. Additionally, he was an embedded member of the transaction team that closed the Upchain sale to Autodesk in May 2021.

Before First Ascent, Noah was previously a summer investment banking analyst in the Diversified practice at UBS Canada. He also spent a summer in Tel Aviv at Deloitte Catalyst (formerly Innovation Technology Terminal), where he consulted for local start-ups and helped connect Deloitte’s global clients with Israeli technologies.

Noah graduated with an Honours degree in Business Administration from the Ivey School of Business at Western University. He graduated in the top 5% of his class and was awarded the designation of Ivey Scholar. During his time in University, Noah served as an analytics consultant for various hockey organizations across the OHL and NHL.

Noah currently serves on the board of directors for Future Sinai, a young professionals board focused on raising funds for Sinai Health in Toronto.
